The Seton Center, serving Dorchester, Somerset, Wicomico, and Worcester counties, recently received funding of $70,000 from the United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore. Since 1983, United Way has provided the Seton Center with a total of $1,056,258 to help the agency provide emergency and crisis assistance, case management and children’s programs for economically disadvantaged families. “It is a great feeling to provide funding to an agency that does so much to help our neighbors in need across the Lower Shore,” said United Way Board Member, Rick Nelson.
