United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore recently received $16,542 from First Shore Federal for the bank’s 2009 United Way employee campaign and corporate gift. The total is an eight percent increase over last year and demonstrates First Shore Federal’s commitment to their community. Currently, the United Way is at 86% of its campaign goal and is in the longest yard of the campaign, with results being announced in March. “It is great to see increased contributions from First Shore Federal and it’s employees who give back so much to help their neighbors in need on the Lower Shore,” said Wicomico County Chair, Gus LeBois.
