Bank of America’s Monty Saylor recently presented the United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore’s Executive Director, Kathleen Mommé, with a $3,000 corporate gift for the bank’s 2009 campaign. The donation moves United Way closer to reaching its goal of $1.6 million to provide greatly needed support for over 100,000 of the less fortunate in the Lower Shore community each year. “We are truly blessed to have such generous corporate partners such as Bank of America to support our efforts to provide critical funding to Lower Shore programs helping our most vulnerable neighbors in need,” said Mommé. United Way is currently at 83% of its $1.6 million goal and is in the longest yard toward reaching its fundraising goal by March.
